Tonight I am quite happily ensconced at home where I want to be, but a part of me is gutted that I am not in Cumbria at Kendal Calling watching Joana And The Wolf. These really are one of the best bands I have seen in the last two years, and while they have their cult following, are criminally under-rated; they have been on the verge of breaking through for just too long. Last time I saw JATW, I nipped out to another gig in t half time break but then blew off EMA after a song and a half to get back to Favela Chic, and totally made the right choice. I am hopeful that it won’t be too long before I once again get the chance to experience their wall climbing drama. I’ve picked these two videos for their decent sound quality.
