I realize this is anecdotal at best, but as much as I want to like CF bulbs, I’ve found that in addition to the extra cost, the time they take to “warm up”, the sickly, gradually-degrading light they produce, and the fact that they don’t work with dimmers, they have consistently died FASTER than their incandescent equivalents. Has anyone had any different personal experiences with them? Am I doing something to kill my bulbs early?
