I was reading your blog and noticed while you have a wide variety of subjects that you cover one of your leading themes is educating and seeking truth for your readers. I think your readers might be interested in learning about how a local Portland teacher is helping low-income kids succeed.
We’re calling upon the community to join PDX Summer School at the Urban Grind, 911 NW 14th Ave, Portland, OR 97209, from 5:30 to 8:00 PM, April 5, during Portland’s First Thursday. We’re raising money for low-income children in the Portland community!
PDX Summer School provides English-language learners education during the summer months.
Results for the 2011 summer program show that 100 percent of PDX students improved or maintained with sight words.
