I have often wondered what East Portland Blog readers think of people, lke me who write religious or spiritual pieces under pen names. I’m sure opinions are as diverse as the EPB readers:
serious,
misguided,
enlightening,
hypocritical,
boring,
WTF! (just being realistic),
Oh Please!,
Fascinating (one can only hope).

I’m sending in some funny church signs and bulletin listings from real churches. You may or may not think they are funny, but at least it shows we sometimes attempt a sense of humor:
“If you have children and don’t know it there is a nursery downstairs”
Notice in a parking lot: “Trespassers will be baptized”
“Don’ let worries kill you let the church help”
“Forgive your enemies it messes with their heads”
“Salvation guaranteed or your sins cheerfully refunded”
“Walmart is not the only saving place”
And here’s just a general joke:
“Eve was created because God worried Adam would always be lost in the garden because men hate to ask for directions.” (Will and Guy’s Jokes)
