After a quick trip overseas, Wild Belle will return to North American for their first late night television performance and a co-headline tour. On November 26th the band will perform “It’s Too Late” on CONAN following their show at The Echo in Los Angeles. The band will then travel up the west coast, making stops in San Francisco, Portland and Seattle. Finally, they’ll return to their hometown to play the Metro with Of Montreal on December 9th (see full list of dates below).
“Keep You” is the first single released by Wild Belle and will be included on their 2013 full length release Isles. The duo’s signature sound of “breezy, Caribbean-flavored pop and trip-hop,” featured on “Keep You,” is why the Chicago Tribune raved Wild Belle “has had quite a year so far.” Self-released in early 2012, the band went on to play a handful of extremely well received shows at SXSW, sign a deal with Columbia Records and complete supporting slots on the Passion Pit and Tennis North American tours. This song, along with Wild Belle’s previously released new material “It’s Too Late” and “Backslider,” showcase the duo’s unique songwriting talents that exhibit a hybrid of retro pop, jazz, reggae, and R&B musical elements.
Wild Belle is Natalie and Elliot Bergman. The band is joined live by Kellen Harrison (bass) as well as fellow NOMO members Erik Hall (guitar) and Quin Kirchner (drums).
