Ben Bloom’s band Polyrhythmics definitely deserves their opportunity to perform on KEXP on Feb. 19 and they are absolutely going to slay it. I caught them at a music festival this Summer and they are one of the tightest bands I’ve ever seen. They are working really hard and it’s nice to see a crew like this get proper recognition for their quality performances and (vinyl) releases. I’ll be tuning into their performance on KEXP.
PS. Everyone of these guys are Ninjas, but Ben in particular is a wildebeest on guitar; from the subtleties and restraint of his rhythm playing to his lead chops in the pocket, he’s something else.
