The absolutely incredible Savannah, GA based rock trio CUSSES will be performing at Tonic Lounge in Portland on April 18 and at the Comet in Seattle on April 17. The band is touring in support of their debut, self-titled full-length, which features the song “Don’t Give In,” which can be heard in the stark, visually intriguing video below.
Cusses are a tried and true rock band whose music is intense and powerful, like a harder rocking version of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. The group is fronted by Angel Bond, a singer reminiscent of both Siouxsie Sioux and Karen O. The music is fiery, eccentric and frisky, blending punk angst and frenzy with filthy southern rock.
