This coming Sunday and celebrating twenty-five years as a band, legendary LA ska masters Fishbone finally returns to the Pacific NW with a show at the Victoria Ska Fest on July 4 and a show at Seattle’s Neptune Theater on July 6.
Fishbone play a variety of musical genres from the aforementioned ska to some punkish fusion, to anything else they can throw into the proverbial musical pot. And they do it with style. The last time I saw them they played a two-hour show that never got boring.
This seven-piece band comprises horns, keyboards, drums and guitar and a ton of upbeat energy. To put it more simply, they put on one hell of a live show. They are not to be missed. Meanwhile I recommend you all get inspired by listening to their brand new EP Intrinsically Intertwined.
