Katéa is a Helsinki-based chanteuse whose musical sounds are inspired by Amy Winehouse, Adele, Lorde, Florence + The Machine, Tove Lo and Lana Del Rey.
Her music a unique blend of indie-folk and experimental pop. She crafts songs where piano and guitar-driven tracks are topped by bright yet strong, warm and heartfelt vocals.
She’s written great songs and sings with an incredible voice. She has been writing music and performing for enthusiastic crowds since she was nine. She possesses an excellent work ethic, a charismatic stage presence, and a unique artistic vision. This amazingly talented young singer recently signed to a worldwide publishing deal with BMG Scandinavia.
Katéa co-wrote her amazing debut single, “That Ain’t Love,” with hot Swedish writer/producer team Moneybridge, who are awesome and global.
Besides music, Katéa is into vegetarian food and yoga/pilates. She looks forward to sampling all of the renowned vegan restaurants in Portland such as A.N.D. Cafe and Homegrown Smoker.
