I’m Labán from Mexico City and I’m presenting the first single from my upcoming album. It’s a protest song, I’m peacefully protesting against corruption, impunity, violence and the extreme disparities of income inequality I often see in my country. I believe that generalized government and private sector corruption tied up to the lack of a solid justice system (impunity) creates a vicious circle that makes us less competitive. People who need and deserve a development opportunity is not getting it, so there’s wasted potential and talent that either dies or goes away to other countries looking for those opportunities they can’t find here, thus creating another problem.
