After six weeks of recording in the countryside Native Sibling are preparing to release their second full-length album Hammer Is Heart. The first single off of the upcoming record, “How to Win,” is a song inspired by the Pioneer Square neighborhood in Seattle. It is a reflection on the relational dynamics of the neighborhood and encourages us all to take a moment to acknowledge those around us. Many of the songs on Hammer Is Heart are inspired by the Seattle landscape and also thread themes of family relationships and how they change from youth to adulthood.
