Eda Green is an American Singer/Songwriter originally from Rochester, NY and New Jersey. Escaping domestic abuse at home, 12yr old Eda, her mother and brother moved to Los Angeles, California where she currently resides.
When Eda and family settled into LA, they happened to coincidentally land at the same apartment complex as a “crazy amount of Viners” and everyone around her becoming “Insta-famous.” At just 15, Eda had her fair share of partying, problems and consequences. That, combined with her own self-discovery, is what she writes songs about.
Now, at 17, Eda’s resulting musical journey is held together by her incredibly unique vocal tone that it powerful, yet haunting. The production combines Eda’s love for organic live instrumentation ad psychedelic soundscapes inspired by bands like Pink Floyd and The Beatles, to a modern minimalist production like Lorde and Phoebe Bridgers. Her writing style is of an honest and personal nature. She’s anything but pop, yet commercial all in the same breath. When asked about her writing style, Eda says she writes from her truth and her songs are “the opposite of Hollywood writing circles made up of grown men that spew words of bullshit for other female teen artists to regurgitate.”
