Dark, unsettling and emotive. This is how Sydney producer and musician Oh My My describes his particular brand of sultry electronica. With a year of the entity under his belt, 2019 is set to see him take things to a whole other level starting with new single ‘Leave You at the Bottom’.
Switching modes from his role as guitarist for Bad Pony, Oh My My is the intricate musical world of Sam Thomlinson. Starting as a bedroom project, it has quickly elevated into a league of its own.
“It’s been such an amazing, fulfilling and exciting experience, that It’s no longer a project that I’m doing on the side. I spend most days writing and working on new songs. I’ve also got a live band together and we can’t wait to play our first shows this month,” Thomlinson says.
With a penchant for pulling on the heartstrings, ‘Leave You at the Bottom’ boldly strides up the path of prior singles, ‘Woe, My Heart’ and ‘Animal House’, poignantly setting up another punch to be perfectly executed by collaborator and vocalist Sam Phay.
