Luna Keller invites you to a joyful, innocent tea party in the official video for “Alice is in Love With the Mad Hatter.” The vid is lovely, fine, charming, free-spirited and “just as mad as we all are when we are in love,” as she sagely expresses in the song.
A fine madness and warm love have been two of the themes for Keller in 2019, a year which began with her release of “We Are All Mad Here,” a celebration of freedom, community, diversity and love. She then followed with the Lewis Carroll-inspired, “Alice is in Love with the Mad Hatter.” She followed that with a pensive love ballad, “Two Chord Song” and now you can enjoy the brand new video for “Alice is in Love With the Mad Hatter.” As I have written before, all three of those songs are exemplary and make a strong triple play on whichever streaming service you might happen to use.
Her biggest news is that, just this week, she released a new five song EP called, Alice is in Love with the Mad Hatter. The fabulous work includes the three songs mentioned above with “I Don’t Know Where I’m Going” and “Two of Hearts,” (which may be heard in the Youtube clip below), both lovely songs. Clearly this EP will be on many lists of “Best Albums of 2019.”
Keller resides in the Canary Islands and has been dubbed “The Taylor Swift of Tenerife” by her adoring fans. And just as Taylor Swift did all those years ago, Keller has written a song about Romeo and Juliet. But that’s where the song similarity ends, Keller’s awesome take on the subject is wiser and more realistic than Swift’s or any previous song on the subject. It’s called “Juliet is Dead” and can be seen on video here.
Keller also wrote a haunting song with her father in 2019. It’s called “The Windows are Open Tonight.” Give it a listen here.

2019 was definitely a BREAKTHROUGH year for Luna Keller!
In forty days or so a new year will start. What will 2020 hold for Luna?
“I’m currently working on an acoustic project,” says Keller, “filled with my favorite songs from those I’ve written. I can’t tell you a lot about it yet, since everything is still in the making and might change, but I can tell you that it’s filled with very personal and emotional songs from my life. For now I’m celebrating the release of the “Alice is in Love with the Mad Hatter” EP, I wrote the first song for it in 2015 and today is the end of that beautiful journey.”
Stay tuned.
