He ain’t Yoda. He’s Baby Yolo, and he’s going to get into some real Dark sh☆t.
Katiana Anastasia Tucker made some prescient predictions during our shift slanging that Cabbage, as she is a self-professed Star Wars dork with a deep background in cloning.
But I’ll take credit for the Yolo thing. Baby Yoda is gonna be bad man. And then a good man. And then kind of bad man. The Jamie Lanister pattern of developing a characters arc a complex mix of repulseness and redemption, and return to form, is a powerful tool in the game of long form storytelling.
“Is the bad guy good? Is the good guy bad? Are there any good guys?
Is Yolo, Yola?

Well if there’s still any active cloning planets in the extended lore, and Palpatine got enough DNA from Yoda to clone him, it may be possible that “baby Yoda is really clone Yoda”. Or that was just my thought given that it’s a common theme in Star Wars to raise up a young being on one side to have them later corrupted by the other side. It begs the question of whether Yoda, would still be the Yoda we know if circumstances were any different. It’s not an entirely sound theory, I’m just geekin on what could be. – Katiana Anastasia Tucker
