Today we are releasing what we believe might be our biggest statement in song form yet. We’re nervous and excited all at once. This song is so personal that we’ve had both men and women crying in our arms after the shows where we perform it.
The song is called “Headlight” and is dedicated to those who speak the truth under the most difficult of circumstances. The song is a statement, hinging on the refrain “They might not believe you, but I do.”
Della Mae will always speak up for the voiceless. We have been given the gift of music to share real stories and cast light on the darkest parts of our society. For those brave enough to light the way forward in the darkness, we honor you. You are our Headlight.
