Not everyone gets/feels/identifies with Rush. I know that because I was the only female in my old crew who did. Rush is heady and complex and not accessible to the average listener. Regardless, my music lover friends *always* gave Neil credit for being the singular badass drummer he was, because you just cannot deny those filthy rhythms. Forever a Rush dork, I will proudly air drum to any song, in traffic, in the shower, at my desk… But especially YYZ
