Johnny Hates Jazz has brought forth their new single, “Spirit Of Love,” and announced an August release for their new album, Wide Awake.
August 6, 2020 marks the 75th anniversary of the first American atomic bombing of Japan. Images of the iconic Genbaku Dome, an Hiroshima peace memorial made of rubble left by the first of the two war-ending nuclear detonations (the second fell on Nagasaki three days later), appear in the “Spirit of Love” video above. Also included in the clip are footage of the JHJ duo in Japan and crowd-sourced images depicting a loving spirit sent in by fans and supporters across the world.
