““Pitch Dark” is a chill song about falling in love in a coffee shop during a thunderstorm,” says Abigail Fierce. “I wrote this song alone in a thunderstorm, in the dark…so some of the inspiration was quite literal. It’s a hopeful, feel good song, but it still has a melancholy edge, so as not to appear annoyingly idealistic. The lyrics read in a very real way. It’s a great song for anyone who enjoys a good story.”
“”Girl in the Mirror” is about grappling with negative self-image & not liking the person that you see in the mirror,” continues Fierce. “Despite it being called “Girl in the Mirror,” I’ve had several guys tell me that they’ve felt that way too and find it surprisingly relatable.”
Fierce is a 19 year-old singer-songwriter based in Los Angeles. She wasn’t raised in a musical household. Both of her parents are pharmacists. They had periodic table placemats when she was growing up. She had to beg them to buy her a guitar and when they finally did, she started practicing everyday. That was 5 years ago.
Fierce’s music is in the singer-songwriter/indie genre with hints of pop & alternative. She plays all of the instruments on her tracks, except the drums, which are programmed. She loves writing songs alone at 4am.
Fierce is also an actress who performs under the name Abigail Killmeier. She plays Wendy in the new Hulu series, Love, Victor.
