Instinct of resentment in new music video from Pororoka band
Pororoka dark folk band from Ukraine has presented a new video in collaboration with actors on the most funny band’s song – “Dyisya” (from Ukrainian – “sulking”).
This song is about waste of time, which people spend on taking offense instead of directing their attention and energy on positive things and deeds.
So it encourages people to rethink and change their behavior.
The video story begins when one of three heroes couldn’t agree with another. Nobody was ready for compromise and as a result their quarrel grew up into offending each other and contest – whose insult is the biggest.
“This situation is typical for Ukrainians. It is so easy for us to take offense for nothing and then to hold it deep inside for many years. Our escape, I think, can be founded in humor”, – said Pororoka frontwoman Svitlanka Sugak.
The end was made in a classical Hollywood manner. Despite having to overcome many fights and sufferings the characters got a happy end.
The video was made with young actors – Kyrylo Shevchenko, Ivan Koval and Katerina Minkovska. This is the second collaborative work of the band and actors.
The previous video on the song “Tsarytsya”(from Ukrainian “the Queen”) was dedicated to the topic of stereotypical behavior of man and woman in love relationships.
Official audio of the song “Dyisya” will be published in the second Pororoka album “Polyn”, which is expected this December. New release consists of 5 tracks:
“Tsarytsya”, “Girka”, “De mene shykaesh”, “Duisya” and “Ghovtyij”.
Pororoka dark folk band was founded in Kyiv(Ukraine) in 2017 year by singer Svitlanka Sugak and guitarist Eugene Kolyada. Its music is a mix of different types of voices, grunge guitar, tender bandura, piano and djembe.
