The Lord’s Prayer (Remix) is a new folk music adaptation of The Lord’s Prayer found in the Bible (i.e., Matthew 6:9-13) and it is a remix of the original song that was released in summer 2021. The song features renowned guitarist Brent Mason, and it is complemented by a lyric music video on YouTube.
Ross continues: “I recited the prayer over the years, yet recently decided to put it to music, especially folk music, which is quite suitable for expressing prayers. The cover art for the single depicts a painting called ‘Sermon on the Mount,’ by celebrated Danish painter Carl Bloch (1834-1890). The sermon would have occurred around the time and place that Jesus would have introduced the prayer to his disciples.”
