Doe Paoro Reveals “All My Life is a Ceremony

Ahead of the release of her new EP Divine Surrendering out this Friday (6/10), today, acclaimed musician Doe Paoro shares the final offering from the project with its leadoff track “All My Life is a Ceremony.” Soft, fingerpicked acoustic guitar and harmonium chords build to a waltzing sweetness, as Paoro explores the practice of ceremony in her daily life.

A healing ceremony in EP form, Divine Surrendering sees Paoro drawing on her experiences traveling the world over the past 10+ years exploring ways (including sitting in and eventually facilitating sound baths and psilocybin ceremonies) that music could activate deeper consciousness at a time when people are looking towards music for inner peace more than ever and frequently incorporating psychedelics into their healing processes.

Born Sonia Kreitzer, Doe Paoro (25+ million streams,260k TikTok followers) lives between Costa Rica and Los Angeles and has written songs for artists such as Peter Bjorn and JohnMonogem, and Chris Ayers, and collaborated with artists like Justin VernonSon Little, and RAC. Her driving inspiration in music is the belief in its power as a universal source of healing and unification. She is the creator of “Activating the Voice,” an online course and workshop series that is dedicated to empowering the voice and tending to vocal-centered trauma through singing.
