COCO JONES RELEASES PERFORMANCE VIDEO FOR AMAZON ORIGINAL SONG, “LOVE IS WAR,” FOR BLACK MUSIC MONTH


 (June 29, 2022 – New York, NY) Today, rising R&B star and Bel Air actress Coco Jones releases a live performance for her Amazon Original song entitled “Love Is War.” Released as part of “Credit the Culture,” Amazon Music’s celebration of Black Music Month, the stunning new song can be heard now only on Amazon Music on the R&B Rotation playlist. “I hope my fans see growth in me, they’ve seen me since I was a kid. I hope they see my journey and think to themselves ‘wow, that took Coco a long time, maybe my journey taking a long time is okay too,’” said Coco Jones about the track.Coco Jones’ Amazon Original is just the latest part of “Credit the Culture,” Amazon Music’s ongoing celebration of Black Music Month. As part of “Credit the Culture” Amazon Music will be releasing additional Amazon Originals from some of the most exciting new artists, including rapper/R&B crooner Yung Bleu; artist, producer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist bLAck pARty; and more. Customers can also tune in to Amazon Music’s Black Culture Radio, a multigenre station highlighting Black artists from across genres, regions, and generations. Later this month, Amazon Music will debut Diaspora, a new playlist that will serve up the hottest new music across, hip-hop, afrobeats, and R&B—all on one unified playlist. It makes sense that Jones found her way into acting through song—first as a recurring guest on Disney’s musical sketch comedy, So Random!, and, in 2012, as the golden-voiced love interest in the network’s TV movie, Let It Shine.
