N8IVE, aka Timothy Emert, was born in the 503, Portland, Oregon, and lived there over half his life, but now he resides in Grand Coulee, Washington. He’s a young, promising, hip hop artist who writes intense songs about personal life experiences and emotions and feelings he goes through.
“I love the form of hip hop,” says N8IVE, “It always allows me to express myself, to paint a picture of my identity as well as working through my emotions. I am a recovering alcoholic for 9 years now. 4/17/13 is my clean date. I am a Native American from the Chiricahua Apache tribe as well as the Colville Tribe, Arrow Lakes Band.”
