“I wanted to make something that showcases not just what I am doing now, but also the progression from where it all started,” says JES about her upcoming album MEMENTO, from Which her current single, “is it true?“ Arises. “It’s been an amazing journey with so many watershed moments. That’s where the name MEMENTO came from. It’s like a souvenir for me as much as anyone else. Every time I write a song I am trying to connect. I think when people hear the songs or see the videos, they get that.”
