Luna Keller is touring Europe right now and has released a touching new song.
“One year ago I wrote “Wolves” after losing my friend Lyca,” says Keller, “I remember when her husband Alex told me about her passing away. I had no words, and it took me several song attempts to write “Wolves” to finally say what I needed to say. The recording you hear today is not just the result of my artistry – it’s a celebration of life for two dear friends that brought amazing artists from all over the world together.”
“A few months after Lyca passed away we lost Alex too and were once again left without words. I decided to add the line “Hope he’s howling next to you” to the song and shortly afterwards started planning to record and release the song. Alex and Lyca were part of my community on Twitch and loved by everyone. Wolves became a way to honour them on my streams and generously the Twitch community helped to raise the funds to produce the song. The recorded version features some great musicians from all over the world: Kalden Berg (South Africa), Thomas LaVine (USA), Alden Heckel (USA), Roger Keller (Spain) – and the cover art was designed by Alex and Lyca’s dear friend Claudine Fraser (New Zealand).”
