Tostao’s tagline “Exotico to the world” seeks to popularize the fusion of Afro-Latin folklore sounds with urban music, giving it the term “Exotic,” in an initiative that also seeks to support emerging artists in the region.
Tostao invited Buay Press, Leysong, and Yilmar Dresan to perform “Traficando Exótico,” a song with a very rhythmic melodic line, contagious and full of energy and folklore, produced by Dela King, Leysong, Tostao, and Juancho Valencia.
“The Chocó artists have a lot of talent, discipline, and a desire to succeed in the industry, but they lack visibility, so this initiative is for them; I hope the public can appreciate the good aspects about this music and its people,” Tostao stated.
“Traficando Exotico” premieres with its official music video directed by Janki Martínez, in a colorful audiovisual piece that proudly celebrates the culture, rhythms and way of life of northwestern Colombia, who regardless of the circumstances have learned to “dance in the rain”.
“Traficando Exotico” available on all digital platforms.
