Built upon a lurching beat and cascading melody, Cash delivers his mysterious lyrics in a sweet, half-whispered timbre, hinting at hidden chaos. “Something’s come and something’s gonna grab us, maybe not soon but does it really matter?” he sings over gentle rhythms and echoing effects, adding, “Wanna climb up but it’s a broken ladder.” Drawing upon influences such as Tame Impala and Radiohead, “Juvi” is as elusive as it is spellbinding.
