Directed by Levi Turner and Mccray Sutherlin, the film centers on Joey as he navigates the highs and lows of a romantic relationship with his on-screen lover, played by Serayah [Empire, BMF]. The visual plays out like an emotional rollercoaster set against a backdrop of various Los Angeles locales. Drawing inspiration from the 1997 classic Love Jones, it offers a nuanced look at modern love befitting the track.2000 represented a critical and creative high watermark for Joey. Among many highlights, 2000 has garnered over 340 million total streams worldwide. In addition, Joey delivered a show-stopping performance of “Show Me” on NBC’s The Tonight Show, Starring Jimmy Fallon.
