Satellite Mode is an Electro-Rock duo based out of New York City led by founding members Jessica Carvo and Alex Marko. Known for their powerhouse vocals and vibrant soundscapes, Satellite Mode has won over critics and fans alike over the years and has risen to one of the must-watch acts in the New York music scene and next big festival mainstays.
Since its inception, Satellite Mode has grown a substantial fan following, landing features on Spotify’s most coveted editorial playlists: Good Vibes, New Music Friday, and Morning Commute; Satellite Mode proved they are a group whose music and message breaks through. Their debut single “Wild Excuses” garnered instant success landing on the top 10 of both the U.S. and Global Viral Spotify playlists.
The critical acclaim followed shortly after as outlets such as Noisey and PopDust caught on to what Satellite Mode was all about. Over time, the band has established a strong touring history selling out historic clubs across NYC and supporting national acts such as Shoffy, RKCB, The Band Perry and Guster on various cross-country tours, along with a strong digital presence that boasts over 20 million cumulative plays across major streaming platforms.
Their latest release, “Young Fools” (out now on BluElephant Records) has been a work in progress from the earliest days –– evolving in the studio and live at shows alike. Says Carvo, “‘Young Fools’ is a coming of age ballad. It’s grief, it’s desire, it’s big city dreams, hopelessness and hope.”
