Heading over to Wonder Ballroom, I was stopped short by the enthusiastic line of fans waiting for doors. It seemed like everyone was talking about Sun Room and how excited they were to see them. Everytime the filler music would stop for a few seconds fans would begin screaming in anticipation of Sun Room, finally the filler music stopped for the last time and Sun Room graced the stage. They were met with rampant screams and applause. The set was hit after hit with every song name getting a big screech from the fans. Singing along and dancing filled Wonder Ballroom as Sun Room jammed around.
California Rock Boy Band is the best way I can explain the style of music and stage presence. It is very fresh with subtle reminders of the iconic surf rock of the past. With just 3 EPs and some singles out, I am sure we will be hearing more of this band once they release a full album.
