Behold Baltimore, Maryland-based quartet, Night Walks, who combine the space-laced swagger of David Bowie with the synth-soaked heartland rock of The War On Drugs.
The group came together at the height of the pandemic, breaking early ground by transporting songwriter David French’s brooding bedroom demos into unapologetic wide-screen arena rock.
They just dropped their debut A&B side – “Sidelines” which harnesses the aforementioned anthemic lifeline, and “Rather Hide” which flips that script with a cool 70’s tinged groove that recalls Fleetwood Mac and Bob Seger. Combined, these two tracks offer an enticing glimpse into their forthcoming debut full-length album.
