Sudanese Afro-pop artist Amanie Illfated has been described as ‘the African M.I.A.” She has made quite a stir on her home turf, winning Best R&B Artist of the Year at the 2021 South Sudan Music Awards. She has also received 2 nominations from the African Entertainment Awards for Best Female Artist and Musician of the Year from South Sudanese ACE Awards.
Her album Divine dropped July 9 and her super hot single “Halawa (ft Caijo)” has been getting traction stateside, with a front page premiere via CelebMix.
