Guatemalan indie-pop artist Tita has joined forces with Bumont, the versatile Guatemalan producer, as a feature on his latest single “Saturno.” The track represents the second single track from his upcoming EP Crying at the disco?, due out in early November, that is focused on highlighting the Guatemalan scene, from the recording process to the audiovisual aspect.
“Saturno” as a single revolves around the idea of introspection in disguise, and how it has the ability to materialize both the light and consequent darkness that inhabits us. ‘In the darkness, I am the light’. A mantra set to music filled with house influences, synthesizers, groovy basses and silky vocals. The Guatemalan duo and long time collaborators and friends bring on another hit that continues to challenge what to expect from Central America with remarkable results.
