Joanne, the 22 years old Greek female artist and winner of The Voice of Greece 2020 teams up with Greek DJ & Producer BOREK for her brand new single “Lioness”.
“Lioness” is a catchy up-tempo pop song with disco elements and 80’s vibes, written by Joanne, BOREK, Faidon Farid and produced by BOREK.
Joanne occupied the top spots of the Official Greek Charts with her debut single “Twist In My Sobriety” (2 million total streams), a dance cover Tanita Tikaram’s 1988 hit single. The track gained a lot of praise from media and audience peaking at the Top5 of the Official Greek Airplay Chart and hitting No1 spot of the Greek Shazam Chart, with more than 300.000 searches in total. “Twist In My Sobriety” also hit the Official Top30 in Croatia and received airplay in Russia, Poland, Cyprus, Serbia, & Slovenia.
She later released a cover of iiO’s “Rapture” with the famous DJ & producer Xenia Ghali, “Midnight” written by ARCADE and Michael Tsaousopoulos – one of the most famous radio specialists and DJs in Greece and also director of the number one music radio station in Athens and a cover of “Katse Kala” (certified gold), a music trio with Marseaux and Helena Paparizou, the winner of Eurovision Song Contest 2005.
BOREK is a popular Greek artist and musician being actively involved in the music industry for over 12 years. During his career he has collaborated with various artists of the Greek pop and rock culture, and as a music producer he has composed he main themes for TV shows including “Kitchen LAB by Akis Petretzikis”, “The Eurovision Countdown show”, Cosmote TV and other documentaries and commercials.
