The brother-sister duo formed Durry during the pandemic when pandemic when siblings Austin and Taryn Durry moved back into their parents suburban Minneapolis home – what started as DIY experimenting in their parents basement quickly changed when an unfinished demo for “Who’s Laughing Now” went viral online. Staying true to their DIY nature, the band finished the song and filmed a music video in their parents garage and released it within 3 days. 4M streams and a sold out nationwide tour later, they just released their debut Suburban Legend to widespread acclaim.
