This R&B Songstress Was The Opening Act On Coco Jones’s Nationwide Tour
R&B sensation Ebony Riley (Interscope Records) is back with a brand-new music video for her latest single, “Get Along Better” — which is a cover of Drake and Ty Dolla $ign’s song of the same name off Certified Lover Boy. Riley’s version finds the singer discovering her man’s infidelity, taking control, and getting her “lick back.” The visual — directed by Jamar Harding — finds Riley singing to her man while helping him shave before things get interesting when she leaves and he sees a video of her taking matters into her own hands. Joining Ebony in the music video in cameo appearances are Kalan.FrFr and Arin Ray.
“Get Along Better” comes four months after the release of the music video for “Cry” which captures the singer highlighting mental health awareness and self-care while reflecting on her own personal journey. Since the release of her debut EP ebony, Riley has been making a name for herself with a string of video releases and several live appearances. She hit the ground running in Summer 2023 starting her performance career in large arenas as an opening act three different times for Jazmine Sullivan before doing the same on Coco Jones’s What I Didn’t Tell You Tour. Riley also wowed the audience at the 2023 BET Awards with her riveting performance during the LA Basement Showcase segment.
In addition to that, Riley also earned a spot in Complex’s 2023 R&B Artist to Watch list and coverage in reputable outlets such as Billboard, Okayplayer, and NYLON. The Interscope star hasn’t only amassed wins on the music side with the release of her celebrated EP. She’s also been a force in the fashion industry, modeling on runways and global campaigns by lauded fashion houses such as Marc Jacobs, Oscar de la Renta, Bottega Veneta, and more. She even landed a coveted spot in the fashion campaign for Beyoncé’s Renaissance album in collaboration with Balmain, featured in Vogue France Magazine last April and was recently interviewed by Vogue Magazine. Lastly, Riley is looking to capitalize on her success in 2023 with new music she’s been working on and gearing up to release in 2024.
