Legendary Portland musician and composer Taj Church has a great show coming up on 11/26 at 7PM at Beer Brats & Beats (8826 SE Stark, Portland …the venue that is never too loud and never too quiet…) on a bill which includes Cyclop Toad, So Lately, Cloud Stokely and Lucia Luna.
Taj has released new music this year and has put on some amazing nights with other local artists that have been joyous in the extreme.
Here’s how Taj describes it, “Live it’s really fun because the people like to dance to it and it’s like being in church high on the Holy Ghost. The shows are eclectic and cool because the lineup is diverse ranging from IDM, Experimental, Alt R&B, Hip Hop, Darkwave, Ambient, and Hyperpop. These shows feature queer artists and the audiences have been really supportive and enthusiastic and open to the wide range of music on offer. I’m really happy to have found myself being able to share the stage with such a diverse and talented group of artists in this flourishing community of underground queer electronic music.”
AFter this, Taj will be releasing a Remix Compilation in February 2024 and has some future shows at No Fun Bar on 2/23/24 and at Holocene on 3/13/24.
