NEW YORK, NY (January 8, 2024) – Kickstarting another era, UK alternative disruptors YONAKA, comprised of Theresa Jarvis [vocals], Alex Crosby [bass], and George Werbrouck-Edwards [guitar], return with a chaotically catchy new single entitled “PREDATOR” via LAVA/Republic Records. “PREDATOR” soundtracks a new cinematic video for the video game VALORANT, developed by Riot Games The video is available on VALORANT’s official YouTube channel HERE. About the song, Theresa said, “It’s a vicious, fierce, and aggressive song that makes you wanna move like you’re possessed and scream at the same time. Lyrically it’s about standing up tall and fighting back. This is ‘PREDATOR’”.
Once again, YONAKA incinerates all expectations. Tense off-kilter drums set an uneasy tempo as guitars pierce through the haze. Meanwhile, Theresa’s manic delivery instantly transfixes on a menacingly catchy refrain as she confesses, “I’m wired. I’m hot. I started. Can’t stop. I come out on top. I’m the PREDATOR.” The accompanying visual adopts a “PREDATOR”-style first-person, filtered perspective on a compilation of explosive live footage.

The band just supported Barns Courtney on a North American tour.
