BUKVE comes “Alive” with new song and album to be released later this year

Norwegian artist and songwriter, BUKVE, has just released “Alive”, a powerful alternative-ish indie pop track. “The song is about being alive,” Bukve says, “but not trying or being able to enjoy and explore how it is to be fully living and how self restrictions also might limit our own evolving processes and openness to new relations and interest in people that are different from yourself.”

This marvelous song was written by Sveinung Fossan Bukve (BUKVE) and recorded in Black Valley Studios in Oslo by Stamos Koliousis, who also produced the song.

“Alive” marks the start of a series of singles that will end up with a full album set for release in the spring of 2024. BUKVE will also tour Europe to support that amazing album with a full band.

BUKVE is the solo project of songwriter Sveinung Fossan Bukve (Bergen, Norway). The sound is placed in a familiar world of indie pop and alternative pop/rock. The debut album is now fully finished, and due for release in the Spring of 2024.

BUKVE works closely with producer and friend, Stamos Koliousis, and it is all being visualized by the inspiration and use of BUKVE’s great Great Grandmother, Alfhild Fossan’s old drawings and paintings mixed with glaciers, rivers and mountains, from the area of Norway where BUKVE’s family name has it’s origin. The lyrics are very personal, and all music and lyrics are by BUKVE.

BUKVE has released two singles so far, which have received airtime on BBC Radio, and great reviews everywhere.
