Colombian singer-songwriter and producer, Elsa y Elmar, Elsa Carvajal’s genre-less music project has become one of the most groundbreaking Latin pop artists of this generation with 6 Latin GRAMMY nominations under her belt.
After studying at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, Elsa jumpstarted her career in 2019 as one of Billboard Latin’s “Latin Artist on the Rise” and ahead of the release of her sophomore album Eres Diamante. The critical acclaim and success of the project led to Elsa’s first Latin GRAMMY nomination for Best New Artist.
In 2022, her album ya no somos los mismos smashed through the gates finding itself nominated for 3 Latin GRAMMYs including Album of The Year and Best Pop Vocal Album. The album received critical acclaim and was featured on NPR Best Music of 2022, Rolling Stone’s Biggest Spanish Records of 2022 and Billboard’s 25 Best Latin Albums of 2022.
Last year, Elsa y Elmar built on her insurmountable success and toured sold-out theatres across Latin America, alongside festival performances at Lollapalooza in Chile & Argentina, Vive Latino, Estereo Picnic. This year, Elsa is gearing up for more festival appearances at P’al Norte in Mexico and Isle of Light in Dominican Republic.
