Brit and MOBO Award- nominated rappers A1 x J1 launch their new single Bad Guy this Friday alongside an official video. The teen hip hop duo released their debut single “Latest Trends” in 2021, which charted at number 2 in the UK and was remixed by A Boogie wit da Hoodie and Aitch. A1 x J1 completed their first international promo trip last week, which was fully documented by a videography team for the official video for ‘Bad Guy’, including a performance to 15,000 people in the Mercedes Benz Arena during the halftime of an official Basketball league match. Following their surprise fan record ‘Pretty Girls Love DBE’ on Christmas Day, Bad Guy builds on the boys’ classic sound, but with an acoustic twang and a heartfelt message that speaks to the effects of knife crime. With singles slated for March, May and July, A1 x J1 are building towards a mixtape coming this year.
