Unpredictable, daring, and frenetic, CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso‘s essence is linked to the authenticity of their very personal and chaotic relationship with music.
They’re known for experimenting with multiple genres, creating combinations that defy purism, and their songs are unmistakably shaped by their spontaneity, talent, and humor. But before everything else, is the astuteness of these two mutants who know how to capture and interpret the soul of their voices, pairing it with music and words without the fear to make others uncomfortable.
Both artists have solid solo careers. In 2021, CA7RIEL and Paco Amoroso released their acclaimed solo albums EL DISKO (nominated for a Latin Grammy for Best Alternative Album which includes the track “BAD BITCH” which was nominated for Best Alternative Song) and SAETA. Soon after, they joined forces again. Season II of their story began in 2022 and brought another type of sound characterized by an electronic parkour fusion that drew from samba as well as Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” It all started with “PAGA DIOS,” an electronic liquid funk record, followed by “EN EL AFTER,” a futuristic samba. With their first world tour, they also premiered “PARA AFUERA,” a record that began in slow-motion with a beat and vocal effects that sounded as if you were outside of a rave.
In addition, in 2019, both artists premiered their sessions with Bizarrap. Paco Amoroso was featured on session #3 and CA7RIEL on session #14, a milestone that further established them as mainstream artists, despite doing the sessions with their magic and on their own terms. They toured the country and Latin America in its entirety, selling out tickets wherever they went. The tour soon expanded to taking them to stages across Europe and standout stops at festivals in Germany and Spain. The culmination of this era was their sold-out shows at the iconic Estadio Obras in Buenos Aires.
