Two-time BRIT Award winner, Becky Hill, continues to build the excitement and anticipation for her forthcoming album Believe Me Now? (out May 31st via Astralwerks), by sharing new single “Outside Of Love.” Out now via Astralwerks, listen HERE and watch the official video HERE.
Written with the track’s producer, the Italian artist/producer duo PARISI (Fred again.., Swedish House Mafia), “Outside Of Love” comes hot on the heels of Becky’s recent huge hit singles – the Platinum-certified D&B anthem – “Disconnect” (featuring Chase & Status and her 6th U.K. Top 10 track), “Side Effects” (with Lewis Thompson and a #1 US dance radio airplay hit), and “Never Be Alone” (featuring Sonny Fodera and her 22nd U.K. Top 40 track).
An emotive opening line from Becky sets the tone for the lovelorn narrative of “Outside Of Love”. Her world class vocal heightens the drama and the passion before the drop hits and sends the BPM sky high. Ultimately “Outside Of Love” sees Becky at her best: dancefloor-igniting electronica inspired by her underground roots, infused with an arena-filling infectiousness.
Becky says, “I’m so proud to present my latest single ‘Outside Of Love.’ This song is a big anthemic dance ballad with fresh underground production and is one of the stand out moments of the new album. I wrote it with my long time collaborators Mike Kintish (Back & Forth, I Could Get Used To This) and Charlotte Haining (My Heart Goes, Now Or Never), and producers Parisi (Fred again../Swedish House Mafia). I really hope people connect to this frustrated and isolated love song and still feel like they wanna dance their way through the shared sadness.”
The accompanying video for “Outside Of Love” elevates Becky Hill to superstar status. Blending high fashion with breath taking natural landscapes and set against the backdrop of stunningly powerful waterfalls, tranquil pools of water and spotlights in the night – the beautiful cinematography was shot off the beaten track, much like the feeling of being outside of love. Watch the video HERE.
Becky’s upcoming album, Believe Me Now? is an effervescent, uplifting dance record that insists on credibility but reaches out confidently for its audience without once compromising on authenticity. Lyrics reflecting on love, self-worth, living life and letting loose sit alongside songs about loneliness, isolation, and betrayal in a brilliantly empowering way. This wrecking ball of a record is ambitious, truly exhilarating and paves the way for a type of dance music where uncompromising production lives harmoniously alongside instantly captivating choruses.
Believe Me Now? sees Becky collaborate with an array of talent both iconic and emerging. Some are previous or long-term collaborators – MJ Cole, MNEK, Franky Wah, Karen Poole (Kylie Minogue) and Lauren Aquilina (Rina Sawayama) – while others are new connections: Chase & Status, PARISI, Toddla T, Maur, Mark Ralph, Jax Jones, Lewis Thompson and Sonny Fodera.
Believe Me Now? is available to pre-order / pre-save HERE, with formats including vinyl, CD and a striking picture disc. Becky’s official store offers a signed art card with all physical formats.
On the live front, Becky is about to head out on her debut headline tour of Europe.
