Portland dream pop duo Found Space release new single “Turning Over a New Leaf”

With intentions of launching a legitimate solo project after failed high school bands, Spen Oliver wrote hundreds of songs before writing the single “Don’t Let It Go”, which ended up featuring the vocals of Lillian Christopher and the production of Jackson Phillips (aka Day Wave). This unexpected gathering on the project’s debut would end up defining the greatness of Portland, OR based Found Space, both in name and in sound.

Four years later, after a pandemic hiatus, Found Space is set to release their debut EP Closer, bringing Oliver’s cumulative vision to light. Featuring vocals from both Christopher and Oliver, “Closer” is a personal analysis of desire, longing, and change through the lens of nostalgic Dream Pop. Closer will be released June 28th, 2024 via Spirit Goth records.
