Earlier this month, the electro-corridos siblings made waves at the 2024 Premios Heat awards with a striking medley performance of their hits “Hasta El Qlo,” “Exceso,” and “Alucin,” marking the first time the electro-corridos genre was showcased at the ceremony. Later that night, Los Esquivel took home their very first Heat award for ‘Musical Promise.’ Additionally, the phenomenons participated in a panel alongside Marko Musica, Juan Duque, Lomiiel, and Christian Alicea to educate audience members on effective strategies for becoming a viral trend in the music industry. The efforts behind their global hit “Alucin” served as a prime example of demonstrating how Sebastian and Eugenio Esquivel successfully captured widespread attention and became a sensation.
Next Thursday, Los Esquivel will make their Premios Juventud debut with an anticipated performance at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico José Miguel Agrelot in San Juan. The ceremony will be broadcasted live at 7PM EST via Univision.
