juracán is a Portland artist who has worked as an independent artist for multiple projects, including his own and as a bassist for musical theater at PCS & Portland Playhouse. He has released an EP, Niño, 2018 and an album Jarineo, 2020, where he navigated genres like ambient and wrote guitar-driven songs. His next EP, Pur’s Sounds for Scenes, comes out later this year and will be mostly IDM and electronic, since, he says, “one of my dreams is to score or be featured in videogames, animation, anime, and/or short films.”
