Renowned Colombian singer and rapper Goyo is back with her latest single and music video, “Saltas por Mí.” This vibrant afrobeat track, a collaboration with Cartagena artist Luister La Voz, celebrates the power of love and reconciliation.
Produced by Slow Mike and Dj Tra, and written by Goyo and Luister La Voz, “Saltas por Mí” is inspired by a deeply personal experience of love: the moment when a couple, having gone their separate ways, decides to reunite and embark on a new journey with renewed commitment.
This single holds a special place in the heart of “La Pantera Queen of Afrobeat,” as Goyo is passionate about shining a light on emerging talents—artists who respect their craft, have grown up listening to her music, and aspire to reach the heights she has achieved in their own musical careers.
“From the moment I met Luister, we had an instant connection… I admire him greatly because I love his voice, and I believe he is one of the artists who deserves collaboration for his incredible talent… In a way, it’s about extending a hand to the new generation of artists who are making Afro music, Black music, the music of the neighborhoods… For me, this is important—it’s about creating culture, creating a movement.” – Goyo

The music video, produced by Replay Production and directed by Janki Martínez, is an original concept by Goyo that pays tribute to Afro vibes and the Caribbean. It was filmed in La Heroica, Cartagena de Indias, where the essence of this region’s landscapes, nature, and energy was beautifully captured. The storyline portrayed in the image features Goyo embodying a woman who reconciles with her partner, giving love and their relationship another chance. This audiovisual piece showcases two timelines as a nod to telenovelas, with the couple, reunited and watching their story unfold on a screen as they enjoy popcorn.
