Monaleo is back with a new music video for “Leo Luv The Sluts” from her newly released project Throwing Bows out now via Stomp Down. “Leo Luv the Sluts” flips the script on traditional gender dynamics and portraying Monaleo as the dominant partner in a casual fling while reveling in her sexual power. She plays with the ideas of lust, control, and independence while being the dominant figure in a casual tryst.
The new video narrates through a nostalgic aesthetic lens giving an unfiltered glimpse into a day in the life of Monaleo. It chronicles her bouncing between the recording studio, trying on wedding dresses at a shopping mall, and rapping her lyrics through a set of iced out grills as she dances and laughs with friends. Her bold and unapologetic style shines through in every scene and extends fans an intimate window into her world.

“Leo Luv the Sluts” adds fuel to the fire of her newly released project Throwing Bows which debuted 10 tracks of her signature rap style, packed with bar-for-bar witty lyricism with a bold infusion of feminism and confidence. She dosed fans with some early samples of the fiery project with single drops and videos for “Passenger Princess (Jibbitz)” ft. Stunna 4 Vegas, “Flush Em” ft. Kaliii, and her viral hit “Don Who Leo”.
“Don Who Leo” debuted at #18 on Billboard’s TikTok Top 50 Chart and spawned the Añejo Remix featuring Rob49 as well as the Blanco and Reposado Remix featuring Anycia and Skilla Baby. The original track quickly went viral and became a favorite soundtrack across social media posts from the likes of Yung Miami, Saucy Santana, Dreezy, NLE Choppa, and Olympic Gold Medalist Simone Biles.
Throwing Bows stamps Monaleo as one of the fiercest voices in hip-hop today and received love and support from the likes of The FADER, XXL, Essence, Rolling Stone, Complex, and more. She made her debut on the XXL Cypher Lab in November 2023 with Latto, Flo Milli, Maiya The Don, and Mello Buckzz and most recently made a stop on Power 106’s L.A. Leakers with Justin Credible where she dropped a fiery bar for bar freestyle. She also made her rounds at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards and was highlighted in various photo galleries across USA Today, PEOPLE, Teen VOGUE, Vanity Fair (Spain), Essence, Women’s Wear Daily, and more.
