It’s impossible to resist the charm of hunky John Scargall. He’s relentlessly positive and comically self-effacing, as can be read in this excerpt from his bio, “For his debut album, John decided to work with a 5-time Grammy award winning producer, but after weeks of unreturned phone calls and e-mails, he ended up going with his friend from high school, Christian O’Connor.”
Scargall’s debut will be released in January. The advance tunes produced by his high school chum sound pretty good. Residing in Philly, Scargall describes his sound as “Indie Rockin’ Country.” This probably won’t be the last we hear of Mr. Scargall. Below are two of his tunes, one on Soundcloud and the other as used in a fantastic promotional video for a children’s hospital radiothon.
